Codex: Parallel Hearts v0.2
I went into this one honestly just to steal some moan samples, not to actually read anything, and then suddenly I’m half hard and low‑key invested in a dumb romance between a depressed android girl with white hair and a hydro gremlin with a god complex. The game plays out in that first‑person style where you’re the faceless guy everyone wants to either kiss, tease, or ruin, and it leans hard into that voyeur thing. You’re always right there, close, like your nose almost touching 2B’s choker while she breathes in your ear and pretends she’s totally not affected. It’s supposed to be parody, sure, but sometimes it forgets it and becomes this messy, horny soap opera where your choices feel way too intimate for a “haha crossover meme” thing. I mean, one scene you’re joking with Furina in this overdecorated room, she’s all smug and loud, and then a dialogue branch later she’s whispering in your ear about how she wants to watch you fuck someone else first so she can judge your “performance.” That one broke my composure. I replayed just to hear the lines again and grab clean takes, and the worst part is I’m not even ashamed.
Since I do SFX sampling, sound is what grabbed me. Breathing is tight and wet, with that tiny room reverb that feels like they recorded in a wardrobe or a cheap booth, but in a good way. Sometimes a little clipping when the girls get too loud, especially Furina when she squeals and shifts from smug brat to needy mess. 2B’s voice is calmer, soft but not fake anime‑whisper, there’s a roughness when she gets turned on that makes it easy to loop for other stuff. Touch sounds too, like cloth rustling when she adjusts her skirt while you try to keep eye contact during some “serious” emotional choice that you will absolutely fuck up because you are staring at her thighs. There’s this one POV scene where she “tests your resolve” by sliding her glove down your chest, and you can hear each tiny friction noise. Whoever mixed that is a pervert. Respect. Still, the lip smack before some lines is a bit much and now it lives in my head. I keep waiting for someone to patch that out and I know they never will, so I just complain to myself and keep listening. The romance stuff actually hits surprising sometimes, then the game ruins the mood in the best way, like when Furina starts low‑key crying about being replaced and two choices later she’s ordering you to get on your knees like it never happened. It’s horny, it’s messy, it’s inconsistent, and the POV angle plus those filthy little gasps make it perfect for background “research” while you pretend you’re only here for the branching paths. I swear I played for the plot, then I went back again just to catalog which sex scene had the best desperate whimper near the end and completely forgot the actual storyline.
