Fafnir waking up horny and pissed off at the world is honestly the most correct thing this game does. You load it up, and you’re not some bland self-insert, you’re this grumpy shut-in dragon with way too much power and way too much free time, who decides, “yeah, fuck it, I’m going to curse some girls and see what happens.” That mood fits him way too well. The whole thing plays like a visual novel written by someone who watched Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid and Chainsaw Man back to back, paused, then thought, “what if mind control, but also dumb pervy comedy and some surprisingly sweet bits that make you feel weird after you come.” You’re clicking through dialogue, poking choices, pushing this curse magic to twist bodies and reactions, and half the time you feel like an asshole, the other half you’re grinning like an idiot because the game absolutely knows what it’s doing.
The erotic stuff is not shy at all. When Fafnir uses his curse, it’s not just a simple “boobs bigger now.” It’s more like: you watch the girl’s expression shift from confusion, to resistance, to that broken-in, needy gaze that hits way deeper than it should. Tohru trying to keep her devotion focused on Kobayashi while the curse turns every brush of skin into an orgasm trigger? That route is messed up in a very deliberate way, and the writing leans into her guilt and her obsession. She’s moaning and grinding, but also panicking because she thinks she’s betraying Kobayashi, and then the game lets you push her over that line anyway. It’s filthy, but it has that sting of “ah shit, I kind of care about her feelings” which most cheap eroge don’t even try. Same with Kanna. The game is very clearly aiming at a grown-up, exaggerated version of her, but the way they still give her that sleepy, clingy vibe while making her hypersexualized and curse-addicted is going to be really hit or miss. Some people will love that corrupted-loli energy, others will nope out. I was in this weird middle: turned on, but also checking my own search history like, “yeah, okay, this is my life now.” Then there is Kobayashi herself, who is written like she just wants to drink in peace while dragons and curses keep making her the target of harassment. The mind control on her feels more subtle. Less tentacle hentai, more “I will just tweak your inhibitions until you start begging Fafnir for the exact thing you swore you hated earlier.” The quiet corruption, where she talks herself into seeing it as “stress relief,” hit harder for me than the louder, more in-your-face scenes.
The crossover bit with Chainsaw Man is where the game goes full serotonin-goblin brain. They throw in that flavor of violence and dirty power fantasy without turning it into a full gorefest. Power showing up and immediately getting dragged into Fafnir’s curse crap is so on brand it hurts. She’s loud, rude, thinks she’s in control, then you slap the curse on her and watch her body betray her while she still talks big. There’s one moment where she’s forced into this humiliating pose, dripping wet, still laughing and cursing at Fafnir, and the game doesn’t cut away. It lets the scene drag. Too long, in a good way. To the point where you’re almost like “ok, next” but your hand is still on your dick anyway. The AI CG is… weirdly charming. Some frames look a bit off, like hands doing strange shit or hair blending into clothes if you stare too long, but it’s kind of hot in that bootleg, fan-porn way, like scrolling Pixiv on your phone in the bathroom at work. You can tell it’s a fangame: messy in spots, horny as hell, obsessed with its cast. The romance tag is funny, because yeah, technically there is romance here. Fafnir’s routes sometimes dip into something almost tender, especially when a girl starts falling for him for real instead of just curse addiction. But it always snaps back to sexual harassment dressed up as affection. And still, I caught myself caring when one of them called him by name in this softer voice during a blowjob scene. It’s that kind of project. Crude, mean, unexpectedly emotional in flashes, full of mind control and power abuse, not even pretending to be wholesome, and that’s exactly why it sticks around in your head long after you close the tab and pretend to answer an email instead of thinking about cursed dragon dick.
