Nothing in this thing feels safe. You start as this poor bastard whose village just got wrecked by Grimm, stumbling through the forest half-dead, horny without wanting to admit it, and suddenly the whole RWBY cast slowly turns into your problem. Not right away, of course. First you’re just a scared virgin with a stick, failing basic attacks in this turn based fight against monsters that look like they crawled out of a doujin instead of the show. Then the game flips tone like a drunk Tinder date. One minute it’s “oh no, survival, trauma, ooh scary Grimm,” next minute Ruby is kneeling between your legs with that innocent face and messy mouth, like she just discovered a new type of weapon to polish. It’s a parody, sure, but it’s the kind of parody where you recognize the characters and still go, “yeah ok, I would absolutely ruin this timeline the same way.” WhatsApp pinged me twice while I was watching Weiss try not to break dignity during deepthroat and I just ignored it, which really says enough.
Beacon Academy here feels less like school and more like a horny visual novel hub that someone glued onto a mobile RPG. You walk around, tap through dialogues that go from goofy to dark to stupidly hot in three lines, grind a few fights with Grimm to get stronger, then go right back to trying to get into the girls’ panties. Or pants. Or under that weird combat skirt thing. Combat is turn based, simple, sometimes unfair in that “why did this slime monster suddenly crit me for all my HP, I just wanted more porn” way. The sex scenes unlock slow, but when they hit, they really hit. A lot of ahegao faces, wet sounds, and the camera sticking right on tongues and thighs and the way Blake’s ears twitch when she tries to pretend she does not love getting railed. Sometimes the writing goes way too far, with *** scenes that are just straight up brutal, and then ten minutes later you are in a softer moment watching Yang ride you like she is trying to win a race, laughing and moaning at the same time. I hated that whiplash. I also kind of liked it. Then I hated that I liked it. Porn brain is stupid, what can I say.
My favorite bit is weirdly not even the big harem payoffs, even if yeah, there is that feeling of “I broke canon and all four girls here are sharing this dick now.” The best part for me was the voyeur stuff. Catching Blake pressed up against a wall, hand between her legs, spying on someone else blowing you, realizing she’s shaking and still not stopping? That was way hotter than any giant cumshot. Sometimes the game lets you watch a scene in secret first, then later unlocks it from the other side, like seeing Weiss get forced into it, then much later seeing how she starts to lean into the abuse and twist it into control. It is fucked up and kinda smart and also totally ridiculous. Whole thing looks like someone obsessed with RWBY, gacha games, and Pornhub categories sat down, forgot what subtlety is, and didn’t stop writing until every girl in Beacon had your cock memorized. I wish the protagonist had a bit more personality, but maybe it is fine he is basically a walking magic dick with PTSD. Reddit will complain about the tone problems forever, but my browser history already voted with one hand.
