Dates with Loona v0.2.0
Loona already looked kinda horny in the show, but here she just drops the filter completely. It starts pretty slow, like a normal visual novel date thing, but you feel under the skin that it’s going to turn messy real quick. You’re this human trying to “teach” her about dating on Earth, and she’s half pretending she doesn’t care, half staring at you like she wants to climb you like a tree. The art is hand-drawn and actually feels like a real fan who knows the characters, not some AI mush. You notice the tiny stuff: the way her ears tilt when she pretends to be bored, the tail twitch when she gets turned on and tries to act cool. Her smirk in some scenes hits harder than the fully naked CGs, which is kinda funny in an adult game that literally shoves tits in your face later.
The choices matter just enough to keep you awake. You pick a snarky answer and she fires back harder, you try to be sweet and she gets weirdly shy for like two lines, then goes right back to being a horny wolf girl from Hell. There’s that one scene where you take her somewhere painfully normal, like a human date spot, and she just looks around like “this is lame” until you pick the right line and the whole vibe flips from awkward to “ok, I want you to pull my collar.” When the erotic scenes kick in, they do not hold back: she’s needy, a little rough, very vocal, and if you mess up a dialog choice she doesn’t suddenly turn into a saint, she just mocks you before getting back to grinding on you anyway. That part felt very on brand. There’s a lot of focus on her body language, hips, claws on your skin, tongue, drool, all the furry stuff people pretend not to like. The romance is there, but it’s that messy, dirty kind, like two idiots who flirt by insulting each other and then end up fucking against the wall and only after that act shy. Accessibility though? Yeah, that’s where it stumbles, and as someone who actually needs those options, it pissed me off more than her calling the player a “pathetic human.” No text size slider, no font options, white text on noisy backgrounds sometimes, tiny UI buttons that look cute but are hell if you don’t have perfect vision or if you navigate mostly with keyboard. There’s no clear option to remap keys, no simple high-contrast mode, and no proper toggle for auto-advance speed. The skip function exists, sure, but if you have trouble with repeated click motions, your hand will hate you by the end. It’s a game that clearly respects the source characters but doesn’t show the same respect to players who need basic accessibility tools. So yeah, horny Loona is spot on, the erotic scenes are hot and filthy in a good way, the furry energy is cranked all the way up, but if your eyes get tired fast or you rely on screen readers or bigger text, the “hell” part of Helluva suddenly feels a bit too real.
