My Pig Princess v0.9.0
I didn’t expect a royal pig girl to make me blush, but Emelie did that and more. The game starts like a joke - farmer meets princess, mud meets silk - but halfway through, it stops pretending to be innocent. You’re supposed to be tending crops or whatever, but every dialogue choice drips with something sticky, like the script itself is sweating. The writing swings between absurd humor and moments that feel too intimate for a screen. One scene where she’s teasing the farmer about his “tools” had me choking on laughter and something else. It’s ridiculous, but the kind of ridiculous that sticks to your skin. I kept thinking, this is dumb, and then I couldn’t stop clicking.
The game’s got that weird rhythm where you forget it’s a visual novel and start treating it like a confession booth. The farm becomes a stage for every filthy thought the devs ever had - milking scenes that go on too long, the sound of wet hands, the way Emelie’s voice drops when she’s pretending to be in charge but clearly isn’t. And then sometimes she *is* in charge, and you’re the one begging. There’s a futa knight who shows up out of nowhere, swinging both sword and something else, and I swear the writing suddenly gets poetic for three lines before diving back into nonsense. The humor saves it from feeling too heavy, though. You’ll be half-hard, half-laughing, and fully confused about your life choices.
I hated one thing: the sound loop when you’re in the barn - it’s just this slow, rhythmic squelch that doesn’t line up with the animation, and it drove me insane. But then Emelie moaned in that lazy, smug way, and I forgot what I was mad about. The group scenes? Chaotic, like a fever dream where everyone’s touching everyone but somehow it still feels personal. There’s a voyeur bit with a mirror that actually made me feel embarrassed to be alone. It’s filthy, funny, strange, and I think I love it for that.
