Cursed Forest Quest – Remake drops you right into this weird mix of horny fairy tale and miserable married life, and somehow it works way better than it should. You play as this human adventurer who is honestly kind of average, nothing heroic, just stubborn, and the real star is his elf wife Vallabelle. She’s this sweet, devoted priestess with huge tits and that soft “good girl” personality that makes you feel bad when something bad happens to her. The game knows exactly what it’s doing with that. One moment she’s healing your ass after a messed up fight, smiling like you’re her whole world, and later she’s blushing while some asshole knight holds her wrist a bit too long and jokes about “sharing” her. There is a scene where you’re at the campfire, you choose the “tease her” option, and she starts stroking you under the cloak with her hand, slow, trying not to make noise, and at the same time you hear drunk soldiers a few meters away talking about what they’d do with “that elf girl.” That was the exact moment the game told me what kind of emotional torture it wants from me.
The forest itself feels like some horny character too. Every time you move deeper, it’s not only monsters and traps, but also people testing your relationship on purpose. A merchant who keeps “joking” about the price of healing being Vallabelle’s body. A mage who offers powerful magic in exchange for “a little experiment” with her. The game hits you with these stupidly simple choices: you need gold, you need items, the plague cure quest is pressing, and sometimes the easiest path is letting someone grope her ass a bit too long, or saying nothing when she gets cornered and spanked “for fun.” What broke me a bit was that you can pick the so-called “pure” options most of the time, reject everything, protect her like some knight from a cheap romance novel, and the forest still pushes situations where she looks at you, clearly scared but trying to stay brave, and you start thinking “maybe I am the problem, dragging her here.” And I hate that there’s a dialogue choice where you apologize to her and the damn log text covers half her face for a second. Tiny thing, but it annoyed me every time and then I forgot it again once the next event started. Also, the humor is surprisingly dirty in a good way, like bandits making dick jokes while you’re in the middle of a serious moral moment, it ruins the mood and somehow makes it hotter.
What I really liked is that the sex isn’t just “click scene, jerk, move on.” A handjob in a tent after a close call feels different from a handjob she gives to calm some other guy so he doesn’t report you. Same act, but one is comfort, one is humiliation with a pretty smile pasted over it. The game plays a lot with teasing, not only bodies but your brain. You get these animated bits where her big ass is bouncing in someone’s lap and she’s moaning in that half-resisting, half-melting way, while your character is literally a few steps away dealing with some stupid fetch quest. There are multiple endings depending on how much you let things slip, how much of her you “sacrifice” to get stronger, unlock shortcuts, get better rewards. In one run I tried to be a saint and keep her untouched as much as possible, and still got a scene where an enemy pinched her nipples through the robe and the camera refused to cut away. Another run I let stuff happen “for the mission” and ended up strangely more attached to her, because she keeps being kind, keeps healing you, even when her eyes look… tired, I guess. The game kind of laughs at you for wanting a pure romance in such a cursed place, and yet it keeps giving you just enough sweetness with her kisses, her shy smile when you compliment her, her clinging to your arm in the forest, that you never stop trying. It’s fucked up and emotional and also just straight up horny fantasy with big tits, magic, and a forest that wants to ruin your marriage in every way possible.
