Esterium Project v0.0003
Esterium Project feels like someone’s horny D&D notebook got drunk with Twine and Unity and decided to go public before putting pants on. It’s a fantasy text RPG where half the time you’re reading dialogue and the other half you’re trying to figure out how the hell your half-naked barbarian with a two-handed axe just got outsmarted by a slime with tits. You start by building your character and it already shows a bit of kink brain: you can go male, female or futa/trans, fiddle with body type, tweak some sliders, then stare at the preview and think “yeah, this is absolutely not armor, this is lingerie with a sword attached”. I respect that.
The text focus is strong, but not in that polished, literary way. It’s more like a horny DM telling you what happens while also checking their notes in the background. You wander around a small chunk of world, bump into a village, a forest, the usual fantasy stuff, then suddenly there’s a monster girl with big tits calling you “meat” and you just know it is going lewd very fast. One moment I was checking the trader’s inventory, annoyed that my starting gear looks like I stole it from a dead peasant, and two clicks later my “proud warrior of the north” had her face pushed against a cold stone wall by a very enthusiastic demon girl. The transition from “shop UI” to “you’re getting railed” is sharp, in a nice porn site kind of way, not in a smooth story way. I like that the text doesn’t panic around dom/sub stuff either. When you lose a fight, the game is pretty comfortable with “you got overpowered, pinned, used”. No fake romance, no shy fade out, it just goes “yeah, you got fucked, here’s how, in detail”. At the same time, sometimes it teases a darker route and then chickens out, like the author wasn’t sure how far to go. There’s this bandit encounter where all the energy screams “you are about to be used by the whole camp”, then the scene ends too soon and you just get tossed out with sore everything but not enough description. Frustrating in the best and worst way. Combat is still pretty clunky; you bonk a skeleton, watch numbers move, hope your build isn’t trash, reload when you realize your barbarian hits like a wet towel. But honestly, the sex scenes are doing more heavy lifting than the stats. I liked that when I chose a trans/futa protagonist, the game actually remembered it mid-scene. No weird pronoun whiplash, no awkward “surprise dick” moment treated like a joke. Body parts get mentioned, used, praised. You get fucked, you fuck others, and it feels like the game is okay with all bodies being sexy, not just the default male power fantasy. I only wish the quest log was less neat. It’s almost too organized for such a filthy little world.
